The goal of the enemy of God is to seek, kill and destroy by deceiving the disciples of Christ to follow a way that seems right but in the end will lead to death. The enemy does this by deceiving us that we have a relationship with God because of our knowledge of Him without actually coming to know Him. It’s the goal of the Holy Spirit to turn our knowledge of God into an understanding of Him that will allow us to experience the Father in a real and meaningful way. For true peace comes from the contentment we feel being in the presence of God and protected from the enemy who is constantly trying to consume those who walk in their flesh.
